DJ Loic Thomas (Salsa portoricaine Mambo from Paris)

Sur le dancefloor les danseurs enchaînent les passes les plus improbables, les plus avertis d'entre eux, la mine réjouie, se contentent d'écouter les pures sons qui défilent les uns après les autres, les plus curieux, le smartphone greffé à la main tente de shazamer tel ou tel titre jamais entendu auparavant ! Aux platines, concentré à l'ouvrage, le pied battant la mesure, les doigts virevoltants sur le potard de la table de mixage, le smile aux lèvres : DJ LOIC et sa french touch !

Qui est Deejay Loïc Thomas ?

DJ Loïc a découvert la Salsa en 2004, d'abord intrigué par le mambo (la danse), il sera très vite conquis par la musique de ces latitudes lointaine.

Bientôt, animé par une frénésie assumée, il ne tardera pas à constituer une vinyl-thèque riche de quelques belles pièces rares de la culture latino-américaine.

Sa grande culture musicale contribuera à le faire remarquer en 2010, par les Deejay prodiges Phil & Madj qui lui offriront l’occasion de distiller ses meilleurs sets auprès des danseurs parisiens, aficionados de la salsa portoricaine.

Après 4 ans passé au O’Sullivans en tant que DJ résident, au côté du très renommé DJ Gaby (Deejay Gabriel), Loïc décide de lancer sa propre soirée « LatinBox Party » en 2016 avec la professeur/performeuse/chorégraphe de Salsa Aude Michon : Le succès sera au rendez-vous !

Désormais Deejay Loïc a régulièrement la l'opportunité de se produire dans de grosses soirées et les congrès d'Europe : Londres, Zürich, Madrid, Genève, Hambourg, Croatie... aux USA ( San Francisco, Las Vegas) ainsi qu’en Asie : Tokyo, Taipei, Seoul et Busan

Toujours humble, mais indéniablement heureux de voir sa notoriété grandir au fil des soirées qu'il enflamme, il aime à scander cette phrase qui sonne comme un leitmotiv : "Du bon swing pour les danseurs !" Ma foi, dirons-nous, c'est un objectif qu'il semble atteindre sans trop de difficulté !

Who is Deejay Loïc?

DJ Loïc discovered Salsa in 2004, initially intrigued by the mambo (the dance), he will be quickly conquered by the music of these distant latitudes.

Soon, animated by an assumed frenzy, it will soon be a vinyl-library rich in some beautiful rare pieces of Latin American culture.

His great musical culture will help to highlight it in 2010, by Deejay prodigious Phil & Madj who will offer him the opportunity to distill his best sets with Parisian dancers, aficionados of Puerto Rican salsa.

After 4 years spent at O'Sullivans as a resident DJ, alongside renowned DJ Gaby (Deejay Gabriel), Loïc decides to launch his own "LatinBox Party" party in 2016 with Salsa teacher / performer / choreographer Aude Michon : Success will be at the rendezvous!

Now Deejay Loïc regularly has the opportunity to perform in big parties and congresses in Europe: London, Zürich, Madrid, Geneva, Hamburg, Croatia ... in the USA (San Francisco, Las Vegas) as well as Asia: Tokyo, Taipei, Seoul and Busan

Always humble, but undeniably happy to see his fame grow over the evenings he ignites, he likes to chant this sentence that sounds like a leitmotif: "Good swing for dancers!" Faith, shall we say, it is a goal that it seems to reach without too much difficulty!
